COMPANIONS

Aneska is not a mean person. She doesn't go incredibly out of her way to be kind, but if you drop your books and she's within two paces of the scattered objects, she's going to come over, pick them up for you, and walk away without even waiting for a thank you. However, this doesn't mean that she makes friends easily. Nessie is an introvert at best, rarely stepping outside of the house unless it's to go to school and come back, to get groceries and come back from time to time, or she's put under dire circumstances that call for it. This means that it's rather difficult to get into contact with her, much less make acquaintances with anyone. Furthermore, she tends to shy away from any social contact with anyone, keeping banter short and to the point and doing whatever she can to let conversations die before they can really go anyway. She doesn't want to be mean – no, not at all – but she personally does not feel she's ready to take on the task of making a friend and making sure that they're safe and, at the end of the day, still her friend.

If you're trying to make friends with her, it will take time, patience, and a character trust worthy enough or good enough at lying to create a false sense of security in the high school student. It's not impossible to worm your way into this category, but it's rather unlikely all the same.

CALUMNIATORS

On the other hand... well, enemies are not easily made, either. Nessie is a very patient, forgiving person. She does not rush people, does not hold grudges against them for wrong doings over a long span of time. It takes a lot to get her mad and even more to keep her mad for any longer than ten minutes. However, she is very manipulable – easily stepped on, easily used, and hardly able to resist in the least – and a person has a higher chance of earning her enmity should they be someone who's known for stepping on the people around them or has stepped on her, personally, on more than one occasion. She also helps a bit of anger toward any single child within the province – especially ones who will never have a younger sibling – and will grow upset if anyone even mentions the sacrificial ceremonies held to keep the province secluded. She won't hate them or actively seek to hurt them emotionally or physically, but they've a higher chance of getting on her naughty list if paired with some of the other aggravating factors.

In order to get into this category and be a true enemy, a person she cannot stand, you're best bet is to use her like a napkin, stomp all over her, and leave her like a used towel combined with any combination of being an only child or frequently talking about the sacrifices around her. Another one-way ticket is to openly glorify the sacrifices or – worse – talk bad about her sister. One wrong term used to describe her deceased sibling and she'll be trying to asphyxiate you in no time flat.

COURTERS

Enemies were a chore to make, friends even more difficult... In that case, love would be near impossible for this particular female. She has not felt attraction to anyone that was not familial and unconditional and highly doubts she ever will for as long as she lives. Again, she doesn't stray far from her house and the prospect of her getting close enough to someone to make friends – much less fall in love is rather far fetched. If she were to fall in lover, however, her ideal knight in shining armor wouldn't be much of a knight at all. The last thing she needs is someone to make her feel like she needs saving. If anything, she would want someone who is better than her, but drives her to become better herself so she can reach them as equals. Someone who is honest and will not abuse her trust and dependency and will not leave her until, well – death do them part. Preferably she dying first. Goodness knows the kind of trauma she'll go through if someone else important to her dies.

If you want to fall into this category, it's going to take more patience than the friendship category or some really awesome romance plots. Of course, seeing as she's demisexual, there would still require a decent number of threads for anything to even be plausible.

OTHERS

As the word to your right implies, this section is for any other sort of relationship that does not fall into any of the categories above. These can be people met in passing, other students at her school, et cetera, et cetera... It's really up to you.
