POKEMON elizabeta, keen eye, female light screen ● fake out leer ● psyshock Elizabeta was gifted to Aneska after the grieving period after her younger sister's sacrificial ceremony in an attempt to make up for the sibling lost. Properly named after her deceased sister, Elizabeta is not well liked by her owner. She is a harsh reminder of what was lost and a hopeless attempt to replace that very same thing. Aneska has tried many times to ditch the poor creature, leaving her to die in places the student figured she would never find her way out of, but by the end of the day, there is always and Espurr curled up on top of the blankets over her feet. Elizabeta is a sensitive little critter with a big heart who only wants the best for her owner. However, she isn't afraid to watch the world burn and takes pleasure destroying random things around the city, leaving Nessie to lie her way out of the many messes to Pokemon causes. | HISTORY Aneska – as we know her – is a perfect example of someone from the province of Fripperi. Quiet. Timid. A doormat at best. All the more she would need to fit the stereotype would be an insane costume, wild hair, and fewer smarts which, seeing as she's never really been the sharpest tool in the shed, is saying something. Of course, people are not born that way and the high school girl here is no exception; why, when she was just a young girl, she was no different than you or I would have been at that age. Born to a young married couple in Laverre Town seventeen years ago, the dark-haired lass was raised in a similar manner to many people in the province. Trust no one but your family. Stay inside as much as you can. Don't socialize in school and only speak and do when necessary. However, as an imaginative little girl, breaking such rules was not an uncommon occurrence. While she was a tad more reserved than most, her lack of wits and her longing for adventure in a world that forbade it without word or law tended to get her into as much trouble as the rest, if not more so due to her inability to cover her tracks. But, even so, those were happy days; obliviousness to the horrors of the world around her and the support of two proud parents made each moment a treat. She should have realized sooner or later that it could never last. Aneska was five years old when her younger sister was brought into the world and spent her years curious as to why her parents seemed so much more solemn than they had after their second child's birth. It was easily brushed off, however, seeing as they were no such concerns of a five-year-old-turned-older-sister. That day, the girl swore to be the best sister – and best friend – to the young Elizabeta. And, with adventurousness dying down to be replaced by responsibility, she certainly succeeded. From the moment Elizabeta could walk and talk, the two were inseparable, the dynamic duo of doom known as Lizzie and Nessie, never to be seen without the other if they could help it. Ten years passed them by with the speed of a bullet without anything going completely amiss. However, on Lizzie's tenth birthday, she found herself stumbling onto a secret she would have been better off not knowing. As is tradition in the province of Fripperi, somewhere between their fifth and eighteenth birthday, the second child of any family within the province borders is offered to the government as a sacrifice. Their life energy is to go to the legendary Pokemon keeping the province secluded from the other three and their bodies preserved in stone to honor their servitude in protecting the people of the province. And, as she slowly – emphasis on the slowly – put two and two together, the raven-haired girl realized that the papers on her parents' desk were ones finalizing the process of her own sisters' sacrifice. This obviously made her upset. Upset on a variety of levels. And it also made her determined to put a halt to the nonsense at once. Her first course of action was to... well, do nothing. Nessie had never been very smart on her own and the added hysteria of the possible loss of the person who meant more to her than the oxygen she breathed was not exactly helping her cause. For three days, she laid low, said nothing to her parents or sister about it, and tried to keep her freak outs internal. After that, she had the idea that prolonging it enough would manage to get them to cancel it entirely. It was her third time ripping up the papers over a garbage can when her parents caught her, realizing that she not only knew what was about to happen, but was trying foolishly to sabotage it. They threatened to make her stay home when the time came, stripping her of her last chance to see her sister alive, and she couldn't possibility loose that opportunity. Realizing that there was nothing she could do, she relented, spending the next few days with a heavy heart. Elizabeta learned of her own demise within a shorter margin of the actual date than her own sister, only learning about it the moment she was being marched through the town streets in an extravagant getup and face twisted into something trying to look strong but thinly veiling terror. Helplessly, all Aneska could do was stand on the sidelines and watch as they paraded her best friend around Laverre like some sort of side show attraction, trying her hardest not to ruin everything by making a scene and trying one last time to halt the inevitable. However, in the end, she had a promise to keep and she'd do everything in her power to keep it. As the crowd came to a stop at the sacrificial grounds and the ceremony was due to begin, the girl threw herself forward, shielding the short girl and preventing them from doing anything. The last thing she heard was her sister's screaming and her parent's anxious wails before she was struck in the head with a heavy object and dragged away. She woke up in the empty remains of her sister's room, a new Espurr staring down at her with wide, blank eyes. Aneska spent more time outside than most people of her age did before what became known as “the incident”, but after her public embarrassment, she became more of an introvert than ever. She began to follow the rules to a “t”, refraining from speaking and doing unless absolutely necessary or when alone, refraining from leaving the home except for school or if dragged out with force. She named her Espurr Elizabeta after her sister, but never lets herself call it Lizzie – the nickname she'd chosen for the girl to match Nessie, the one the younger'd had given her first – and doesn't always treat it was as much love and affection as is advised. |

♪ Aneska rather enjoys singing and has become a tad bit “famous” in the town that she lives in for her singing talent. However, she is self conscious and will likely run away if she catches you listening to her sing. She enjoys it, but she thinks she sounds like garbage all the same and gets rather embarrassed.
♪ She despises the color red because it makes her think of blood and anger, but her sister wore a pair of red ribbons in their youth and she has been known to wear the same ones in her hair from time to time for nostalgia's sake.
♪ She is deathly allergic to peanuts. She's weary of any other nut in fear they'll end with the same result.
♪ Aneska is interested in astrology and hopes to be an astrologist some day. At night, she sits on her roof and watches the stars, regardless of the weather, time, and other such factors. If anyone even mentions the stars, she gets very excited and starts rambling about all of the things she knows about them and other celestial bodies. That is, before she realizes what she's doing and stops herself.
♪ She hates any family with a single child, especially the single child themselves. He or she does not know – and will lucky never know – what it's like to loose a sibling to the sacrificial ceremonies held in the province.
♪ She also hates the legendary Pokemon. When no one's looking, she'll spit on their shrines and monuments out of scorn and flees before anyone can realize it was her who defiled the “sacred” artifacts.
