PERSONALITY Cynical & Snarky: Seren first and foremost is cynical he despises the position he's in and what he has to do inside internally he's often stuck at a crossroad of what to do about his situation, but he's resolved to do whatever it takes to stay alive and take down every political figure in Illyis breaking down all the walls between the two nations. This also shows greatly in his depreciating humor and passive aggressive anger seen when he's annoyed. Vocal & Courageous: Seren secondly is very vocal about how he feels about people and things alike. He speaks his mind at all times and dares anyone to say otherwise. By no means is Seren afraid of confrontation nor is he afraid of violence to accomplish what he needs done. Stubborn & Untrusting: Seren takes orders from no man anymore he has little faith in anyone but himself and so he's learned to listen to no one other than himself. Despite being quite charismatic he doesn't trust anyone and he can take orders he doesn't believe in. Kind & Well Mannered: Surprisingly Seren is rather kind when dealing with his own and even foriegners to an extent when he's not raiding their regions for resources. He may not trust, but he definitely recognizes potential more than anything, and he makes sure to consider this when making friends. However even more than this Seren was born well mannered people tend to paint a picture of a merciless leader who takes what he wants, but he's not all blades and fire so to speak. Merciless & Just: That however doesn't mean the rumors are wrong there's just another side to the coin. Seren isn't above slaughtering people places and pokemon to get what he and his people need to survive and even more merciless when he feels he's fighting against injustice. His moral code is extremely ambigious and doesn't always work out the way he wants, but in the end he makes sure whoever is truly guilty pays for their crimes, this includes his own. | [DIS]LIKES ☻ Justice: As a child Seren believed that justice would come one day and everyone unjust would be punished by karma or a god of sorts. However he's realized in his age that in order to see 'your' justice you have to step up and make it happen. This is what he's been doing for well over three years now. ☻ Education: Seren is a very strong proponent of the education system and makes sure the younger people who wish to join him go through some kind of schooling despite having very minor formal education himself. His inabilities to send formal letters or truly fight on a political front anger him to this day, and so he makes sure the next generation of his people are educated. ☻ Traveling: If he somehow makes it to the point where he's able to travel the world freely after equality has been found of course he would take it in seconds. He's always dreamed of seeing the world for himself, however he wasn't lucky enough to have been born in a society where he could do that. ☻ Change: Seren is a strong proponent for change as a child he used to shy away from severe changes in anything he used to fear the concept of change however as he grew older and unavoidable changes came some for better and some for worse he simply learned to adapt and now he welcomes and even looks forward to change in a broad sense. He faces change head on. ☻ Tolerance: For a very long time Seren was prejudice and extremely racist when it came to the other races however a few unique individuals he's met have begun to change that mindset and although Seren still has many preconceived notions about the majority of the people in other nations most of which being very negative he's begun to understand tolerance in a sense and sincerely hopes those of the next generation aren't nearly as jaded or intolerant as he's become in his short life time. ☺ Politics: Politics was what originally brought his people to where they are today hidden lies by politicians bamboozle and confuse hard working people struggling and as such they unknowingly vote for things don't understand he despises politics as they truly take advantage of the populace. ☺ The Media: In a sense Seren doesn't believe in 'the media' he dislikes it mainly because he can't get his hands on it. It's shown to be powerful in the right hands and it's been used to constantly give the illusion that his brothers and sisters are happy with the way things are and that their lifestyles are normal and by extension to be accepted, he's become resolved in finding a way to truly take control of a media outlet and there a few places he has his eyes on. ☺ Faith: He despises belief in higher powers, and knows it's up to humans to fix the world He believes or rather has resolved himself to believe there is no God that would let people suffer like this and if there is then it's truly not a god, but a demon of sorts. ☺ Insecurities: Insecurities slow you down, his especially. He can't stand his own insecurities because even with all he has and is resolved to do he still cares about the little things, he cares what people think, he cares about his past, and he consistently feels he isn't worthy all of these keep him up at night and he can't stand it, truly. ☺ Old Age: Seren knows he won't live long enough to become old in a sense. Not because he's diseased or anything, but he knows he'll be killed in some skirmish or fight before he makes it to that age, that is if he doesn't off himself before that, and truthfully he's happy about that he can't really see himself as on old man and losing control of his own body like that. One of the many things that scare him. |
