POKEMON  alexander, cute charm, male baby-doll eyes ● moonblast calm mind ● swift  kiri, water absorb, female scald ● acid armor aqua ring ● baton pass | HISTORY - corina grew up in phenac city. - from the time she was young, corina's parents decided they would be in control of her fate. corina was seldom allowed to leave the city, nor was she able to stray far from either of her parents. her parents were focused on raising her to be a "decent person" for when she was to be married off. corina disliked this tradition and wished she could decide who she could marry. - around the age of ten, corina's parents became less concerned with keeping an eye on her because they felt she was old enough to obey their wishes and stay in phenac. one day, when corina was running an errand, she met an adult male practicing swordplay. the way he moved intrigued her, and so she started watching him. after a while, he noticed her, and asked if she'd like to try fencing. corina decided to take the man up on his offer. since then, she has been training under him. - when she turned twelve, corina's parents found her a suitor for her to marry. as she was still relatively young, there was nothing corina could do. however, something happened to her husband-to-be, so the arrangement was called off. corina had no idea what happened to him or who he was even supposed to be, as her parents decided not to tell her. - since the disappearance of her first husband-to-be, corina's parents decided to wait until corina turned fifteen and marry her off to a twelve-year-old male. when her birthday came, corina was introduced to her second husband-to-be. after spending a few minutes alone with him, corina decided she couldn't marry him and became determined to run away. that night, she carried out her plot and snuck out of her home and phenac city while her parents slept. - after leaving, corina vowed to never return to phenac city until she got married or her parents moved. oddly enough, she also became curious as to what happened to her first husband-to-be and thus decided to search for him, despite not having anything to go on in regards to his whereabouts. (not to mention she had no idea if he were still alive.) lastly, corina decided to explore as much of the world as she could, having been sheltered most her life. |
