She is an only child. The family's Houndoom took to her quickly, following her around wherever she went. They decided to allow Lusha to claim Roman as her own. - At the age of 5 she was already working on her family farm. Her father would hook up their Tauros to the plow, and she would ride behind them and guide the furrows. She didn't mind the work, and would groom the animals and dealt with the feeding. Spending time with the pokmon made it not feel like as much work. - When she was 7, she began a small herbal healing practice with her mother. They were busy in the fields during the day, and at night the influx of ill or injured neighbors kept them up until all hours. It wasn't technically "sanctioned" by the government, but they looked the other way since it didn't interfere with anything. - That same year, her parents were given a Ponyta as payment for some medicinal services. Lusha would hook her up to the plow, and would use her to carry towns people with broken limbs or who suffered from dehydration to her mothers for treatment. - At the age of 12, Lusha's parents were offered to sell her to Illyis, but they refused. She continued to work on their farm, but often the towns people couldn't pay them back for their medical help, so it became more of a volunteer service. - By the time she was 18, the conditions had worsened so horribly that her parents could barely feed themselves, let alone her, as well as take care of the town. In order to cut down on their expenses, and to allow them to collect money from her, she volunteered to be sold as a slave to the Silph family head. He had an eye for her medical practices, and how subservient she was. - As a token, her parents allowed her to take the Houndoom, as well as the now evolved Rapidash. She uses Roman for her protection, as well as protection extended to the Silph family. Shira, the Rapidash, is permitted to her through the use of errands and messenger services. She is, of course, in charge of taking care of them completely on her own. |

- She originally was going to join the resistance, but she didn't remotely like the idea of being forced to marry.
- Before she was sold, she was in love with a boy from her home town. However, he was executed for treason.
