[attr="class","chrome"](friends) friends aren't exactly plentiful when you're a wanted criminal on the run, however charming and witty you may be. argent typically operates on a platonic "friends with benefits"-- that is, if you've got something he wants, he'll make some friendly overtures. very rarely does he have an actual; argent is certainly not very forthcoming with personal (or real, for that matter) information, and the more people that know who he is, the higher risk that alastair's lackeys or the odd person seeking to cash in on his staggering bounty will find him. however arrogant he is, argent is nothing if not cunning. to put it bluntly: argent's never had a real, close friend, unless you count thane, and sol, to an extent. | [attr="class","chrome"](enemies) he never thought he'd be one for theatrics, but occasionally, on sleepless nights, argent will whisper the names of his brother and his co-conspirators. highly vindictive and exceptionally bitter over his brother's coup d'etat (though he grudgingly respects his skill for maneuvering). while argent realizes that at least pretending to get along with someone is quite useful, make no mistake: no one gets in his way or so much as harms a hair on his pokemon. On the flip side, fugitive status is not the greatest impression-maker. those who learn his true identity tend to either run screaming or try their hand at his head. there are also those who simply dislike him for his secretive, manipulative personality-- regardless of whether they know his identity or not. |
